They tend to appeal to a more intellectual readership, which obliges us readers to make an effort to read their articles. Comparable to some Dutch-language magazines: Knack, De Groene, Elsevier, etc. Unfortunately, it's no longer available in Flanders, not even in a university town like Leuven, and it can't be ordered there either!
